Hidden Tiger

Co-written with Cooper Wai

His grandfather demands pills and rules. Mikel walks a forbidden path.

Mikel is the grandson of a powerful orthodox warlord, expected to climb the cultivation ranks with costly pills and strict tradition. In secret he practices the heretical multi-affinity path his murdered father taught him. When the Dark Sect assassin who killed his father poisons his mother, Mikel's Metal chi isn't strong enough to save her or take revenge. With an ice-fairy apothecary, a former bandit and an exiled jeweler, he has to survive brutal academy tournaments, hunt multi-node monsters and uncover a conspiracy that threatens the empire.

For readers who love underdog cultivators, forbidden techniques, academy tournaments and a crew of outcasts. From the co-authors of Battle Bard.
