So as always I am behind on blogging and updates.... First the good: Akiraa series relaunch. The re-edited Akira Rises and the brand new Akira Rides are available now. The bad: Dragonblood book 5 is slightly delayed but now is available for pre-order/ Will be live Oct 3. The ugly: due to some personal issues, which now include a broken arm, I am way behind on Stoneblood book 5... I will peck away and try to get this done but it going to take some time :(
Hello everyone. I once again can lay claim to world's worse blogger. I am beyond late updating the website, but on the other hand I have been busy writing, so if you waiting for new books I have good news.
DRAGON MAGIC: Lyric's Curse 2 is now available for pre-orders, and will be live May 11. It is the fourth Dragonblood Sagas novel, but it is the sequel to book one. The Dragonblood Sagas are based on the two story lines right now. Lyric's Curse, and Sisera's Gift. Each story-line follows different characters in the same world, and follows the return of dragons. For those of you who have read all of the Dragonblood Saga stories so far, you will note that Book 3 actually happens after Book 4. At some point I may talk to Amazon about switching the order of the series around but for now I am leaving it as is. The subtitles explain which characters the stories are following.
What is next? There have been a few questions lately about the series and which books coming out next. There will be another Dragonblood Sagas novel this summer. This is getting co-written with another author, Alex Mathys. I am very excited for this as he has some cool ideas that will make the Dragonblood world even bigger and better.
The Akira Rises sequel is coming soon, and will be at least a trilogy. Book Three is being written as we speak.
And finally I am starting Book Five of the Stoneblood Saga right meow! There will be another Hanna Halfblood novel this year, but I am not sure if it will be before or after Stoneblood Saga book 6 which is also on the agenda for this year.
Some of you might have noticed that there is some crossover between the Stoneblood Saga and the Hanna Halfblood series. Without giving away too much, I can say this will continue and that there will be some crossover with the Dragonblood series as well.
I may be the worlds worst blogger! Terrible job keeping this up to date. But this doesn't mean I haven't been busy writing, so that is a win. Stoneblood book 4 is now out and Hanna Halfblood releases Feb 1. and you won't have to wait too long for the second book as it comes out Feb 18th !
While most of my novels thus far have been YA Fantasy, this one is most certainly Adult fantasy. It is a little grittier. Hot and steamy romance, violent battles, in a bawdy and base kingdom filled with thieves, whores and mercenaries.
When the attacks started, Prince Astar hired an investigator to solve the crimes. When the third investigator went missing he knew he had to try something different. He decided to hire a Kyra, a smart and sassy woman, who also happens to be a thief. Kyra wants the job, it pays well and is far more interesting than sneaking around and copying people’s signatures. But she has no intention of being the fourth dead investigator, so she needs protection. Kyra turns to the one man even mercenaries fear: Bazur, a solitary mercenary half-orc, infamous for his barroom brawls. Together they might solve the problem of the mysterious attacks on the prince's associates, but only if they can ignore the building chemistry between them and survive the attacks on their lives!
(* For readers of the Stoneblood and Dragonblood Sagas: This story contains adult situations and violence and is not intended for younger readers.*)
When her new husband went behind her back and arranged a marriage between her daughter, Isabella, and the wicked prince from the neighboring kingdom, Queen Amelia knew she had to act. But what happens to Isabella during her journey is beyond anything Queen Amelia ever imagined!
Been getting some comments sent to me lately about my lack of updates... Guilt as charged. Many people wondering when next in series books are coming, don't worry I not planning a George M. No waiting years for new books :)
So for those of you who haven't seen the new book, its out now... It is a new series Dragonblood Sagas, that will revolve around the story line of dragons returning to the world. Book one Lyric's curse is available on amazon (see below). Book two will be available late spring (I'm planning for April). It is not a continuation of Lryic's story but a different story line that starts right after the end of the story line of Lyric's Curse. I do plan to continue the story line of Lyric and that will be in the third Dragonblood Sagas novel (Fall 2016)...
Stoneblood Saga Book Four is my next project following the second Dragonblood Story, and it should be out sometime this summer.
I also collaborated with a family member on a novel which she just released. Akira rising is a similar fantasy world to the Stoneblood and Dragonblood novels, perhaps with a hint more romance...
When a young crippled orphan finds himself caught on the wrong side of town by a group of highborn youths, his life is forever changed. Left for dead after a vicious attack, Lyric finds himself in the care of a witch. One who knows more about him then he does.
With the old witch's help, Lyric will learn his true place in life, one far more interesting and dangerous then his old life as a street rat. Lyric will meet two young women who play intricate roles in deciding his future, will it be love or destiny? All the while a dark shadow is crossing the land ...
Nov 14: Both Soron's Quest and The Son of Soron are free! Nov 17-19: The Son of Soron is free and The Siege of Pailtar is $0.99 Nov 20: The Siege of Pailtar is $0.99 After that everything goes back to normal, but I'll likely run another round of promo's before Christmas...
The Siege of Pailtar
Nathan, with the help of Ava, Sharon and Quinton had thwarted the evil King Ganus's attempts to steal the lost tomes of the Red Order. But their peaceful return to Balta is short lived.
Nathan and friends must overcome betrayal and the desire for revenge in order to stop King Ganus from destroying Pailtar. New friends will be made. Old enemies resurface and tragedy strikes Nathan once again!
For those of you who think Siege of Pailtar sounds a lot like Thief of Pailtar, you are correct. The two story lines have merged into one book. If you've already read any of the Thief of Pailtar episodes you'll want to read this one to find out what has happened to our little thief!
